Hi, I’m Alyssa — founder of Silks Design.

I’m a mom of four and a former labor and delivery nurse who always dreamed of creating something of my own. What started as a small idea for my daughters has grown into a brand built around family, comfort, and confidence.

Silks Design began with my daughters.

I wanted them to wear bonnets at night to protect their hair, but I couldn’t find anything that was both functional and truly beautiful. So I created custom bonnets that made them feel proud to wear them. But I didn’t stop there — matching pajamas didn’t exist, and I believed every girl deserved to feel confident, comfortable, and seen.

From those bonnets, I dreamed bigger.

I wanted to create pajamas families couldn’t wait to slip into after a long day — soft, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Pieces that feel as good as they look. Silks became more than sleepwear; it became about comfort, confidence, and the joy of matching with the people you love most.
