At Silks Design, we’ve always been committed to creating products that are safe, high-quality, and made with your families in mind. As a small, family-run business, this responsibility means everything to us.

We recently identified an issue affecting our Girls Ruffles Shorts Sets and T-Shirt and Pant Sets. These items do not meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. Because they are not flame resistant, regulations require garments intended for sleep to be tight-fitting.

These items were designed as loungewear; however, under federal guidelines, they are considered children’s sleepwear and must meet specific flammability standards. We take full responsibility for this oversight and are truly sorry for any concern this may cause.

While no injuries have been reported, we are taking this matter seriously and are working closely with the CPSC to voluntarily recall these items out of an abundance of caution.

Out of caution, we recommend discontinuing use of these items as sleepwear.

To receive store credit, please contact us at silkssupport@silksdesign.com with the following:

• Full name of the original purchaser

• Email address associated with the order

• Order number

Along with two photos:

    1.  A clear photo of the size label at the neck

    2.  A photo showing the item has been cut and can no longer be worn as shown below

 

To receive a refund and return your item, please contact us at silkssupport@silksdesign.com with:

• Full name of the original purchaser

• Email address associated with the order

• Order number

• Mailing address

Once your return has been received and processed, a refund will be issued. Please allow up to 6 weeks after we receive your item.
